@ 0:22 seconds there is a gentleman who is performing a drill and firing with more than 2 seconds in between rounds fired…don’t be misled this will get you admonished by the staff and possibly kicked off the range.

I can imagen this man facing another armed man or intruder and firing every two seconds.....

Recognize most if not all Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)-Managed Public Shooting Ranges are; elderly/handicapped/family oriented outdoor recreation facilities, supervised and maintained by superb employees! 🏆😎👍

Great video but this is the reason I don't go to these outdoor ranges...too strict with too many rules. I understand why they do it but us guys that are military trained and have years of experience should be exempt. Not being able to practice double taps would be problem for me. Recoil management is what people need practice with. I think I'm just gonna have to buy some land. 😂

Looks just like landscape here in S.E. N.C!! Any tip for hunting strut zone open sand patch on power lines, and a LITTLE Lilly pond. I was there the other day, heard nada. But SO MUCH SIGN. Over 25 -30 strut marks some in pairs some single a couple w a hen or smaller turk tagging along. Just try to strike them up once I’m in there? I feel they r roosted close close by. Not sure what time of days best. Got a lil branch blind made last week. Going out in a few hours. 4 am rn. Up early thinking about appropriate aproach an any other factor that’d play a part. No decoys.

My question is "Why does everything have to be written out as if it was done by a lawyer?" Just to look up information on how and where to hunt you Literally have to click and read Multiple Links. Basically if your "In the Know"(a good ol'boy) you're good to go, but if not it will take you Years just to figure out the quota hunts, how to apply, when to apply and good luck finding the MWA's GPS will take you 10 miles out of your way to an empty side of highway, a citrus farm or to the South Entrance of a privatly owned Ranch Gate.

What about on anterless deer days? Can you disregard any antler regulations on these days ??

Is it legal to run plates in Fl if no law has been broken?

How do you determine everyone is abiding by the "cold" rule? Are public ranges just self policed and you have to really hope everyone is on the same page? Would love to go to a public range here in Florida but that is scary as hell

It says hunters "shall" (meaning mostlikely to happen in the future) enter through designated areas, not "must" (meaning have to) so you should be able to walk in on foot to hunt hogs any time correct? Thanks

I've always hated when people from up North came here and said "you should do it like ..." but here is something I think Florida needs to copy. Missouri Department of Conservation runs a lot of public shooting ranges. Why doesn't FWC? 10:37 - Yeah, right. I witness some rentacops in full gear come out and load on the back bench behind the shooters. We did have a volunteer range officer that day for a change and I told him. They blew him off as they were "professionals". I then tried to report it on the FWC website and phone but got nowhere.

All these rules just show how irresponsible too many people are. That's the only reason for abundant rules. Real shooters just need a target. Public ranges are scarier than inner cities, too many bubbas. Think I'll stick to my own range.

I have deer hunted for 60 years, but I have never hunted here in Florida. too many snakes, mosquitos, and chiggers. I go to the mountains where there is snow and cold temperatures........I haven't been snake bit yet. unlike my neighbor.

Can you shoot a shotgun at the rifle ranges? If so what shots are allowed? They say buck shot and bird shot are not allowed.

I pay out the nose to hunt in Georgia as non-resident , but out of state assholes in Florida don’t pay much more than a resident. What are the restrictions (if any) about hunting iguanas inside city limits besides I assume no firearms and follow up question is it the same for parks that lie in city limits or does it go place by place? I tried to look up the answers to these and other questions on the FWC website but I couldn’t find anything saying specifics

Incorrect to my knowledge if you have a modern shotgun capable of holding more then 5 shells and hunting deer it has to be plugged to prevent more then 5. At least that’s what I know.

Everything I see online is listed as "sport" and all the laws I read are specific to "recreationally". What if you live in the woods and hunt an alligator to eat? What does the law say about that? I can't find it. :(
